Whoa, We’re Halfway There: Caster Q2 2025 Highlights

We’ve reached the midpoint of 2025, and Caster is pausing before the headlong dive into CEDIA Expo and CES strategy to look back on a second quarter densely packed with client and agency wins.

Media Highlights

Caster secured multiple tier one earned media placements in Forbes and The Verge this quarter, elevating both new and legacy clients into the mainstream view.

Epic Events

The Caster team participated in two vibrant industry events this quarter. Pete Girard was onsite at Parks Associates CONNECTIONS, and Kim Lancaster, Meghan Glickman, and I descended on InfoComm 2025.

Parks CONNECTIONS continues to be a uniquely valuable B2B event for smart home manufacturers and service providers. Per Pete, the agenda was packed with interesting and well-represented sessions, but perhaps appropriately, the standout aspect of the event is the networking: “I came away from this conference with so many excellent new contacts from across the industry. I loved how purposefully networking was woven into the event.”

InfoComm 2025 was also a smashing success for AVIXA, hitting a new record for post-covid attendance. I participated in the official conference program for this one, moderating panels on both Live Event Sustainability and Enterprise IT trends.

Caster clients cleaned up at InfoComm as well: 22Miles collected an award from Higher Ed AV for Best Digital Signage Project, and Vanco was awarded Best of Show by AV Technology for the EVO-IP 2.0 AVoIP solution. Crestron executed a full awards sweep, taking home AV Technology Best of Show, SCN Best of Show, S&VC Best of InfoComm, the Commercial Integrator Best Award, and over earned 40 media clips.

Personal Victories

While we’re usually far more focused on promoting our clients than touting ourselves, Q2 included some gratifying media wins, personal milestones, and team growth for Caster as well.

We welcomed veteran tech journalist, SEO specialist and pickleball assassin Adam Forziati to the Caster crew this quarter. Adam has wasted no time bringing fresh ideas and valuable expertise to our clients: check out his inaugural blog on shifting SEO best practices.

Caster Senior Account Executive Sarah Hales also shared her expertise this quarter with a contributed column in Residential Systems on how to master one of this year’s most important social channels: YouTube. Oh, and she also got engaged (this is what’s known in the biz as “burying the lead” – CONGRATS, Sarah!!)

Our client roster grew too, as we welcomed Nagravision into the Caster fold. This digital TV and content security provider has a legacy dating back to the spy versus spy days of the Cold War. Today, they’re focused on digital resilience and security, including AI-enabled threat intelligence and secure customer engagement tools. We’re honored to help tell their 21st -century story.

And of course, we rounded out the quarter with an extremely exciting industry accolade: cracking the CommPro Top 10 US PR rankings for May 2025. Founder and President Kimberly Lancaster put it best: “The Caster Communications team continues to slay.”
