C.E.D. Prepares for Annual Fall Ball Technology Summit and Invites You to Join

With three events planned across the Midwest, the PowerHouse Alliance distributor member welcomes dealers to join them for demos, prizes, special deals, and a whole lot of fun.

Northbrook, IL – August 29, 2018 – Consumer Electronics Distributors (C.E.D.), member of the PowerHouse Alliance and premium regional distributor of consumer and specialty electronics for the Chicago metropolitan market and broader Midwest, announces its Fall Ball Technology Summit, welcoming dealers and industry partners to join them in celebrating their 26th year in business with three events late September and early October.

The Fall Ball series will start in Illinois on September 26 from 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., but rather than being held at C.E.D.’s Elk Grove location as in previous years, C.E.D. is switching things up and hosting the kickoff event at Pinstripes in Oak Brook. Aside from the traditional Fall Ball experience, dealers, vendors and industry partners will have the chance to mingle while bowling and playing a game of bocce ball. Following the event in Oak Brook, IL, the Fall Ball will continue at C.E.D.’s New Berlin, WI, location and Bloomington, MN location from 9:00am – 7:00pm on September 27 and October 3 respectively.

“Our Fall Ball series is the perfect opportunity for dealers to get a look under the hood at all the new products for the Q4 buying season,” said Mike Baginski, C.E.D. Vice President. “We are expecting a fantastic turnout from our vendor partners yet again this year, which means our dealers can look forward to quality face time, demos, and all kinds of show-only deals.”

Those who take part in any of the events will benefit from a day of great food, exclusive deals, hundreds of prizes, as well as new product demos and a chance to meet with reps from over 30 manufacturers including eero, iPort, Jamo, JVC, LG, Lutron, Luxul, Peerless-AV, Polk Audio, Samsung, Sanus, SoundTube, URC, Vanco International, WyreStorm, and Yamaha. Those who attend the New Berlin, WI event can also chat with the Sonos team and test out the latest in wireless audio products. LG and Samsung will also be running training sessions at all three events for interested dealers to take part in.

“Now in its 26th year, the C.E.D. team decided to shake things up for the 2018 Fall Ball and move the first stop to an offsite location,” said C.E.D. President Avery Baron. “We are always looking for ways to set the bar higher in order to properly honor our business partners. We are grateful for our dealers and vendors, and the Fall Ball is one hundred percent dedicated to celebrating their business, hard work and loyalty. We think this year’s events will be our best yet!”

Dealers can register for any of the three 2018 Fall Ball events online here. To learn more about C.E.D. please visit, www.goced.com.
