Julia Vaganek

Account Coordinator | Caster Since 2026

Origin Story:

My path to PR started at Caster. I first interned here the summer before my junior year at the University of Rhode Island. I was majoring in Marketing with a minor in Digital Communications and initially pictured myself pursuing marketing. During my time at Caster, I saw the different sides of PR and found myself especially drawn to the strategic thinking, creativity, and variety that come with the work.

I interned at Caster twice, and both experiences played a big role in shaping what I wanted to do after college. A few years later, I’m excited to be back at Caster, continuing to learn from the people around me and build on the skills I’ve developed through my internships and education. I bring versatility, curiosity, and a positive attitude to my work, and I take pride in being dependable, thoughtful, and ready to take on whatever comes next.

Why Clients Call Me:

To bring curiosity, creativity, and attention to detail to every project.

I’m at my best when I’m learning something new and figuring out how to communicate it clearly. Whether I’m helping with research, putting together content, organizing project details, or brainstorming ideas, I enjoy getting into the details and seeing how everything comes together.

Off the Clock:

When I’m not working, I enjoy staying active with hiking and Pilates. I’m also a big sports fan: I love watching football, hockey, and tennis. I’m equally happy spending a quiet day at home with a good book or baking something from scratch. I especially love fall, so a perfect weekend might include watching a football game, going for a hike, trying a new recipe, and ending the night with a spooky movie.

Outside of that, I usually spend time with family and friends, exploring new places around Rhode Island, or catching up on whatever book I’m currently reading. I’m always up for good food, a fun weekend plan, or a cozy night in.

Hot Take:

Rainy days are better than sunny days. Sorry, not sorry.

Give me a rainy afternoon, a good book, something baking in the oven, and I’m happy.
