Smart, Sustainable Living with New Integrations in Crestron Home OS 4.4
Crestron Home® OS 4.4 introduces a suite of new integrations designed to redefine smart, sustainable living. These third-party offerings provide homeowners with deeper insights, greater control, and enhanced convenience, all while driving energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. By bringing these advanced features into a single platform, Crestron Home OS enables homeowners to make informed decisions and embrace smarter living like never before:
- Real-Time Energy and Water Insights: The integration of HomeWizard via a driver developed by TIG offers homeowners actionable data on electricity, gas, and water usage, empowering them to make informed decisions, reduce costs, and embrace sustainable practices.
- Weather-Based Automation: Leveraging the Tempest Weather System and TIG driver, the Crestron Home platform brings real-time weather intelligence directly into the smart home ecosystem. Homes can dynamically adjust shades, shutters, and outdoor systems based on hyperlocal weather conditions, such as sunlight, wind, or rain.
- EV Charging and Tesla Integration: With the Phoenix CHARX and TIG driver, homeowners now can seamlessly manage EV charging. They can also enjoy comprehensive Tesla vehicle controls via a driver developed by Intrinsic Dev, including HVAC preconditioning, charging status, and lock settings, directly within the Crestron Home app.
- Expanded KNX Integration: Crestron will unveil expanded KNX integration, making it easier than ever to incorporate a wide range of KNX devices into the Crestron Home platform without complex programming. The 1Home CH Server paired with the 1Home Integration Driver for Crestron Home OS developed by TIG simplifies KNX integration with the ability to effortlessly manage and control everything from lights, door controls, shades, power outlets, and more.
- Simplified Climate Control with Airzone and CoolAutomation updates: Crestron Home OS has two major climate control updates. Airzone’s updated driver for Crestron Home OS delivers a new level of simplified HVAC integration, eliminating the need for complex programming, additional wiring, or WAN connections. The driver seamlessly connects Airzone systems with the power of Crestron Home. CoolAutomation now delivers a native experience in the OS via their new driver, delivering precise HVAC control for even the most complex systems. Homeowners can manage multiple zones, monitor diagnostics, and fine-tune settings all within the Crestron Home app.
Expanding the Boundaries of Smart Home Displays with the DGE-1000
At the forefront of Crestron’s showcase at ISE 2025 is the highly anticipated Digital Graphics Engine (DGE-1000), a powerful tool that enables homeowners to experience the Crestron Home OS interface on large third-party displays with ease. Designed to integrate effortlessly with the Crestron Home platform, the DGE-1000 eliminates the need for multiple devices by combining display, control, and streaming capabilities into one streamlined solution.
Refreshed TSR-310 and HR-310 Remotes: Elegant Control, Redefined
