ADT Joins Z-Wave Alliance as Newest Principal Member

Beaverton, OR – November 19, 2020, 11:00 AM ET – The Z-Wave Alliance, a standards organization dedicated to developing and advancing the popular Z-Wave® wireless smart home protocol, announces that ADT (NYSE: ADT), a leading provider of security, automation, and smart home solutions serving consumers and businesses, has joined the Z-Wave Alliance as a new Principal Member, granting them a seat on the Board of Directors.

In August 2020, the Z-Wave Alliance announced its incorporation as an independent non-profit standards development organization, including new levels of membership, organizational structure, and member-driven support. As the newest Principal Member of the Z-Wave Alliance, ADT joins other industry leaders including, Assa Abloy, Leedarson, Ring, Silicon Labs, StratIS, and Qolsys in advancing Z-Wave technology.
