Shaping the Future of Superyachting: Interactive Event Debuts on Crestron TV

Crestron is hosting Crestron TV, a two-hour live television show with short, interactive sessions on automation, collaboration, and other relevant topics. Crestron TV: Shaping the Future of Superyachting, will explore new and future innovations in the superyacht industry on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 3:00 pm CEST / 9am EDT.

Experts will discuss recent market research, new technology applications, challenges in the market, as well as sustainability as a result of size increases of yachts in today’s luxury climate.

The discussions and findings will be hosted by the following experts:

  • Jack Robinson, Director of Superyacht Technology, will lead a panel discussion on Hydrogen technology and address whether it is the energy source for the superyacht of the future, as well as current challenges.
  • Martin Redmayne, Chairman of The Superyacht Group, will present the results of “The Superyacht Automation Report,” a new market research report which explores how current technology aboard superyachts is perceived and used by owners/guests and key strengths and weaknesses of integrated technology onboard. The results will first be made available exclusively to attendees.
  • Merijn de Waard, Founder & Managing Director of SuperYacht Times, will give an exclusive preview of his new solution for the market, followed by insight into AV and Control onboard today and in the future by Stijn Ooms, Director of Product Strategy AV and Digital Workplace at Crestron.
  • Henk de Vries III, Chief Executive Officer of Feadship and Founding Chairman of the Water Revolution Foundation will conclude the event with an exclusive keynote
