Caster Communications Promotes Two Team Members, Welcomes Two New Account Coordinators
Wakefield, RI – December 19, 2018 – Caster Communications, Inc., an award-winning consumer and emerging tech PR, social media, and consulting firm, is proud to welcome two new account coordinators, Valerie Murphy and Rebecca DiLorenzo, to the agency’s growing team, along with the recent promotion of Pete Girard to Account Supervisor and Megan Carvalho to Senior Account Coordinator.
“In our 20th year, Caster has grown into our new office and taken on new clients, and it is only fitting that we continue to grow our thriving PR team with new talent ready to meet the demands of our fast-paced agency and deliver PR, content and social media,” said Caster President and Founder Kimberly Lancaster, “As we enter the new year, we will continue to invest in new talent from our local community, working closely with the University of Rhode Island and opening our doors to interns that hone the necessary skill set and academic background to excel in the tech PR industry.”
Murphy joined Caster in November with a B.A. in Communications with a focus on writing and rhetoric from the University of Rhode Island, where she was a peer tutor at the university’s writing center. Upon her return from studying abroad in Thailand, Valerie became a Peer Ambassador for URI’s International Center to present the merits of the school’s study abroad programs to her peers. “The Caster team’s pride and dedication to their clients is highly motivating and I’m honored to work beside them, expanding my knowledge and expertise in the tech PR industry,” said Murphy.
DiLorenzo was welcomed to the Caster team in December with a B.A. in Public Relations from the University of Rhode Island. DiLorenzo brings three years of PR internship experience working with agencies in New York City and in Rhode Island, and a passion for social media and branding. “The Caster team is extremely knowledgeable and I’m looking forward to learning about Caster’s clients and supporting their growth across various emerging technology markets,” said DiLorenzo.
