Since founding Caster in 1998, Kim Lancaster has continuously cultivated a lean PR team offering the best in subject matter expertise, cutting-edge public relations strategies, and strong partnerships across the breadth of the tech industry. Beyond the typical, extensive job demands of owning an award-winning PR firm, Kim has also fostered and nurtured a culture that encourages employees to work hard, play hard, and believe in, and love, what we do.
Over the last year especially, Caster’s client roster and team have proudly evolved to bring greatness to both legacy clients and new partners, adding a healthy range of partnerships with both industry disrupters and household names to our client mix. These partnerships position our team to drive innovative launches, drive growth rates across client indicatives, and truly make an impact within industries and companies.
Among the many tremendous goals we’ve helped our clients accomplish this past year, Caster pioneered an innovative campaign for Electrolux, a premium appliance company that wanted to engage specifically with interior designers to increase awareness and opportunities for professionals and their clients. We concepted, launched, and implemented an ambassador program that married the company’s deep commitment to sustainability with like-minded architect and design professionals that included a kick-off media event, application program, contest, badging, newsletter, community forum, and content.
Spanning beyond the office, we are also proud to serve as an ambassador to the practice of public relations for tech industry professionals, offering educational sessions via webinars and consulting for the top voices in AV and consumer technology. Beyond our industry, we also love the opportunity to share our success stories with the next generation of PR mavens at the University of Rhode Island, where our insight played an integral role in the blueprint of their strong PR major program.
